go to USC film school, that’s the best pipeline out there. or start as a writer then move up to assistant director, then director. you could also start out with indie films, the best way is to visit Sundance and get business cards and start as a set assistant.

All of the non-executive directors I have met and worked with have been retired business people. I am in my late 30’s and run my own PR business – would they even consider me?
