This job is a step up in responsibility, including supervising 8 staff; managing a multi-million dollar budget; setting market strategy for the organization; increasing marketing share.

There is no standard increase percentage. Geography, industry, and job scope are all factors, as is the compensation structure of your current company.

You may want to check salary.com for salary data that pertains to your locale and position description and/or check on monster for similar jobs posted in your area to get a sense of what companies are paying. You should also be able to obtain a pay range for the position from your HR department. If you know any headhunters, they are often good sources of the going rate for positions at your desired level.

Professional organizations may also publish salary data for their members, so check the web sites of any groups to which you belong.

Best of luck.

go to USC film school, that’s the best pipeline out there. or start as a writer then move up to assistant director, then director. you could also start out with indie films, the best way is to visit Sundance and get business cards and start as a set assistant.

I have seen a couple of adverts for non-executive directors, mostly within the NHS, and feel I fit the skill set for a number of them. All of the non-executive directors I have met and worked with have been retired business people. I am in my late 30’s and run my own PR business – would they even consider me?
Any ideas/suggestions/info most gratefully received. Thanks.

You should contact them for the application pack. All jobs now will have a person spec so you will see from that what is required, I really don’t see how they can be ageist. Also most jobs now are on the NHS jobs website; check out www.jobs.nhs.uk Good luck.

    * Following the end of the Gulf War, the Pentagon, led by then Defense Secretary Dick Cheney, paid Halliburton subsidiary Brown & Root Services over $8.5 million to study the use of private military forces with American soldiers in combat zones.[11]
* Thomas H. Cruikshank, who served as chairman and CEO from 1989 until 1995, was replaced by Dick Cheney.
* In the aftermath of Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait in 1991, Halliburton crews helped bring 320 burning oil wells under control.
* In the early 1990s Halliburton was found to be in violation of federal trade barriers in Iraq and Libya, having sold these countries dual-use oil drilling equipment and, through its former subsidiary, Halliburton Logging Services, sending six pulse neutron generators to Libya. After having pleaded guilty, the company was fined $1.2 million, with another $2.61 million in penalties.[12]
* In the Balkans conflict in the 1990s, Kellogg Brown-Root (KBR) supported U.S. peacekeeping forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Hungary with food, laundry, transportation and other lifecycle management services.
* In 1998 Halliburton merged with Dresser Industries, which included Kellogg. Prescott Bush was a director of Dresser Industries, which is now part of Halliburton. Former United States president George H. W. Bush worked for Dresser Industries in several positions from 1948–1951, before he founded Zapata Corporation.

Good on him I believe he is right the whole business stinks of CIA it was too unprofessional.

And if you Utube "7/7 Ripple effect" you will see how the BBC (Big Brother Corporation itself) are contriving it all too. An Israeli security company organised the actual mock scenario coincidentally on the very day of the tube bombings setting up 4 Muslim Actors.
OH look there are 7 of these if you haven’t seen them here’s the first
